I started out this project by installing Google Earth. Once in the app, I searched for my points in the search bar. I zoomed in on the map to verify that the location I chose was the correct one. From there I added my pinpoint to the map and I added the photos and videos to go along with them. Finally I took my screenshot and exported the .kmz file.
I chose these placemarks because they are each a location from where I went to school up to this point in my life. Included is my kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school, current college, and the college I will attend after transferring. These points are important to me because I spent a huge portion of my life in these places and they have inspired me to take up a career in elementary education. Speaking of elementary education, while searching for pictures to add to the placemarks, I came across an image that I was included in. In the image for Arthur Rann Elementary School, my fifth grade class was attending the Presidents Day assembly. That one image brought back so many memories and excites me to one day experience something like that from the perspective of a teacher.
